Food & Dining

Food is fuel for the soul, and helps to set us up for a good day. That’s why, at Wren Hall, we prepare delicious, nutritious meals to help keep our family members healthy and strong.

We cater for all dietary requirements and cultural/religious needs, as well as allergies and intolerances.

Our kitchen team works hard to ensure the menu is always varied and interesting, but they also seek opinions and suggestions from our family members, creating a collaborative meal plan that works for everyone.

Take a look at our sample care home menu:

Breakfast

Served from 07:30 - 11:30*

Breakfast can be a fruit cocktail, cereals including porridge, a full English breakfast, something on toast or just plain toast, the choice is yours.

Lunch

Served from 12:30 - 13:30*

There’s a choice of two main course dishes daily; a meat option and a vegetarian meal. This is followed by a dessert which could be sponge pudding, rice pudding, fresh fruit or fruit yoghurts. A cheese platter is available as an alternative to dessert.

Dinner

Served from 17:00 - 18:00*

There are usually five or six items available that vary from day to day. These may include egg on toast, sardines on toast, various sandwiches, salads, and jacket potatoes. This can then be followed by a selection of cakes, trifles, or jelly and ice cream.
