Lifelike dolls and soft toy animals offer therapeutic benefits for people with dementia. Holding these items can provide relaxation and comfort, especially for those dealing with distress or anxiety. They can also ease "sundowning" symptoms and bring a sense of purpose, boosting energy and mood. Additionally, these toys can foster family connections, particularly with younger family members, enhancing closeness and interaction.
